Given Jaspers temperament, most people would be worried. Between the speeding and the way he seems to be having the most intense mental battle of his life in that driver seat - Bishop wouldn’t envy them. He, however, is used to this.
And to say he is completely content in the passenger seat would be an understatement. He could sleep if he allowed himself.
He doesn’t.
The food smells amazing and if he groans it’s all because of that. It has nothing at all to do with Jasper. None. (That’s a lie.)
It’s what happens when they get home that pulls his attention back into focus. Jasper is already barking orders before the car is even stopped, and Bishop has to hold back an amused sound as he unbuckles and climbs out of the car — and is assaulted in the most pleasant manner any of them ever have….
Whatever thoughts he had just float away when the other walks away. He grabs the case and the food and follows after him, “Yes ma’am.”
