Honesty was not always the best policy, especially in their line of work, but Jasper found that he was usually terribly honest with Bishop. More than he should be. Maybe he was a liability, maybe he was an idiot, but he was pretty sure this wasn't a long con, and, well, Bae trusted him so--
Jasper sighs, something soft and thin before he moves his head along with Bishop's movement. He doesn't fight, doesn't struggle or put up walls and fences and barbs, just is for once. It's harder to do than he expects, and he wants to take the out given to him through mention of Baein but then he is being kissed and he is chasing Bishop's lips with a soft whine when he pulls away to speak again.
"You are. Absolutely fucking stupid, but--" Jasper sighs, eyes fluttering closed as he leans into Bishop's hand on his cheek. There might be a ghost of a smile there, one that Bishop can feel more than see. "I like that about you."
I like you. But he can't quite say it. Not yet.
And because he can never leave quite enough alone: "Your dick game is also a selling point. And your taste in lace."
Ah yes, he is now grinning mischievously at you Bishop.
